With Chickenbone Jone and Harmonica Dave
The Godfather of the Cigar Box Guitar has built an international reputation for
making and playing his cigar box guitars, re-creating the music of those Mississippi juke joints. He starred in the BBC documentary Cigar Box Blues and organises the annual Boxstock Festival.
He can be heard playing both cigar box and orthodox guitars during the Festival in the company of his longtime collaborator Harmonica Dave and leading his own Chickenbone Blues Band.
