London Coffee Festival

This weekend the great and good of the UK coffee scene will be descending on the capital for the annual London Coffee Festival.

It’s a chance for roasters, suppliers, cafes, baristas and fans to get together and geek out about all things coffee. There over 250 artisan coffee and gourmet food stalls showcasing their wares, along with tastings and demonstrations from world-class baristas, interactive workshops, talks, live music and DJs, art exhibitions and so much more. Several of the BTP gang are heading down over the coming days to check out what new, exciting and interesting things are happening in the industry, and also to get as many free tasters as we can!

It runs from Thursday 12th April – Sunday 15th April and also kicks off UK Coffee Week. Tickets are available to buy on their website and anyone can attend, so if you fancy checking out some of the best in the business from all over the UK and the world, do check it out.

And one for the west too…

Quite excitingly, there is a coffee festival heading a bit closer to home in the autumn, with The Coffee House Project launching in Bristol in September. It is the first event of it’s kind in the south west and the organisers are hosting a two day celebration of all things coffee from the south west. Be it artisan roasters, independent food and drink retailers and home-grown baristas. There will also be a series of workshops, talks and exhibitors along with a barista competition hosted by the SCA UK, not to mention gourmet street food and live music! We cant wait! Again, tickets are available to all and can be bought via the website.
