Cock & Bull was started in 2011 to throw a party to raise funds for Jamie’s Farm. Launched by a group of friends with a love of festival culture, they wanted to create an intimate event with a social purpose at the heart of the party. Over the years the festival has grown organically by word of mouth, but the capacity and aims have stayed the same.
Started in 2009, Jamie’s Farm has impacted over 4,700 disadvantaged young people who visit one of their farms for a week-long visit that combines ‘Farming, Family and Therapy’. Their carefully crafted programme that mixes tangible jobs around the farm with therapeutic support is helping vulnerable children, primarily those with poor behaviour and poor engagement at school, to re-engage with education and see their futures in a new light.
We’ll have a BTP pop-up at the festival, ready to keep you caked-up and caffeinated throughout the festival. The lucky winner of two festival tickets will also receive two Ecoffee cups (as in all our cafes, there’ll be no single use coffee cups so BYO) as well as refills throughout the festival.
